I run BAD levers on both my AR's and sold my conversion kit as the bolt hits a speed wobble that would cause malfunctions...

...maybe the dedicated upper in 22lr would overcome the bolt-only conversions' shortcomings for me?!?!

I was just thinking about this conversion kit again. Are there anyone running these that could provide us with some reviews on it? Also, how does availability for these look like?

I have been bugging spartan arms for them....last year they werent sure on the next shipment....sent another mail this morning.

There was mention on another thread that Tac Shac might carry them....no stock there either.

This product really has been bothering my mind the past time. It looks like a very attractive kit to me, although the price would be a major factor. I will probably be in the market for my first AR soon and I would prefer it to be in .223. If the price of this kit is right, it might be a great extra. Otherwise, if the price nears the range of a dedicated .22 AR, well then...

Last years price on their last shipment was R5500.00

LIW made some but, AFAIK, not commercially.

@Paul -- Any news on these? Will Tac Shac be bringing these .22 conversion kits into the country again and, if so, would you happen to have any idea of the likely cost of them and when your next shipment is likely to arrive?
