Sharpening Victorinox steak knives
As the title suggests, is their anyone on the forum that can direct me to what type of sharpener one can use to sharpen victorinox steak knives? I currently use a five stone Lanskey kit. Is their a specific Lansky stone one can buy and who sells them. Thanks for input in advance.
Regards EB

Re: Sharpening Victorinox steak knives
Ive got the Gatco Knife sharpening kit.
Same as Lanskey. But stones slightly wider.
Its got one that has triangle shape.
Which is specifically for Serrated blades.
Not sure if Laskey makes same stone.
But reckon they will.
We have had Victorinox Knifes and forks now for over 15 years. Also the steak knifes but with round tip. We use it every single day. Cant say ive noticed them being blunt.

Re: Sharpening Victorinox steak knives
Lansky does make a hone for serrated edges. It is triangular in appearance to be able to get into the serrations. You use it like you would a normal hone.

I think it's cheaper to buy new Victorinox knives now and then.
