Re: Printing of license card
I have a slight hijack to this thread, but on the same topic...
My licence was approved, but found out a month or three later that the card was never printed. Like the workflow has finished, but they neglected to do the printing.
What to do now? Must I apply for a reprint (I found the form, and it sounds like it puts the blame on me "lost card, stolen card, etc", and then I need to go take photos again to accompany the request, and it seems to cost more money)? Just bug them and ask them to print it?

First time S13 Approved a full month ago. CFR Call Centre says its still in the queue? I got the number for "Provincial", but this just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing...

Re: Printing of license card
Hi all
If you haven't tired the email option yet, I emailed 'cfrenquiry@saps.gov.za' after having waited 4 weeks and still no card;
received a response from "GP:FLASH Firearms Control - Lt Col Simelane" "<SimelaneS3@saps.gov.za>" the next day...
If you're in Gauteng, maybe try Lt Col Simelane? (But please don't over-do the number of email requests to them)

Re: Printing of license card
Yes that is what I did.
What I did was call 012 353 6111 and ask for the printing division. a very friendly guy will answer the phone and he can check a lot more on his system than what the normal CFR staff can. I asked him for a reprint and he did it on his system.

Re: Printing of license card
How often should I call CFR/DFO to find out if the licence card is ready?
