Big thank you to BA
Towards the end of June, this happened. Couple of weeks before a CG IPSC league and the second round of IPSC Nationals

Nicky was kind enough to loan a spare slide, whilst the original slide went back to Austria as a possible warranty claim
Today I collected this

Big thanks to Nicky, Terrick and Jacques for the great service

Re: Big thank you to BA
Great stuff! Just out of curiosity, what was the turn around time?

Re: Big thank you to BA
June to September. Could have been sooner if I paid for the courier fees

Re: Big thank you to BA
Well done, and another question: how many shots have your fired? My reason for asking: I once or twice saw similar breaks on Glocks with 200 000+ shots which were not maintained properly. Your pistol looks pretty new on the photos.

Re: Big thank you to BA
Close to 30k. I have no recollection of dropping it or anything funny happening with the RSA. I'm pretty sure it would have seen 75k+ if this hadn't happened

Re: Big thank you to BA
What are the licensing implications? Especially having a temporary loan slide?
-
Re: Big thank you to BA
Slide is a controlled part, not a licenced one
New slide has the same serial number, my old slide was destroyed

Re: Big thank you to BA
Great so no unnecessary dealing with CFR!
