Semi-automatic rifle for 3-gub

Which is the better rifle for IPSC 3-gun shooting standard division the LM4 or the LM5? I can get a LM5 for R4000.00. Is this a good price?

If at a later stage I can get my hands on an FN FAL has anyone managed to get a licence for a second semi-automatic rifle (major clalibre open division)?

If its got a folding stock and not picatiny ral on top of the dustcover its really no good at all
Also the LM4 is far better than the LM5 because it has a longer barrel that you need for the extreme distances..
