IFTA end of year shoot - Saturday 5th December @ Cecil Payne Roodepoort

Good day IFTA members!


The last formal club shoot for the year will be held on Saturday the 5th of December, at Cecil Payne shooting range in Roodepoort.


We will meet at 08h30 to start signing in, heading to Range 1 around 09h00.

• Please remember to sign in at the front office (next to the loading/unloading bay).
• Cecil Payne is a cold range, so all shooters are required to make their firearm safe at the designated safety area (next to parking bays).

We will be working with all disciplines, minimum ammo count & equipment recommended:

• 100 rounds Handgun
• 50 rounds shotgun
• 100 rounds rifle (SLR)
• 50 rounds rifle (bolt)
• Eyes and ears
• Slings for rifles and shotgun (preferred)
• 2x spare magazines and magazine pouch
• Sun cream
• Cap
• Fluids to hydrate

Handgun and shotgun will focus on steel plates and targets on Range 1, with rifle and bolt action on the long range.

Timed exercises will include steel plates, Tactical Qualification Shoot, and rifles at 100m (accuracy focus). We'll be looking for the overall best time!


Cost options for the day:

• R150 if you are only joining us at Cecil Payne Range for the shooting activities
• R250 gets you both into the range, and the ITA "club house" activities afterwards
