Re: Homemade powder trickle
Looks good to me.
You may have to experiment with the hole size.
If the tube is smooth inside, it might just keep flowing with ball powders. Not that you need to trickle ball powders in the first place.
A storage lid may be worthwhile, to keep any dust or insects out.
Re: Homemade powder trickle
Great idea! CFE is a flaked powder so it'll work well. I would love to see how it performs with a spherical powder... :P
Re: Homemade powder trickle
Great idea and it looks good.
For what it's worth - A spring from something like a ballpoint pen that fits inside the tube will help by creating an auger effect for the powder making it more controllable when trickling. I did that with my "el cheapo" that I bought - works like a charm.
Re: Homemade powder trickle
Looks good, just a bit concerned about that powder hole is going to be too small for spherical powders. Generally trickles have quite a large feed area into the tube.

Re: Homemade powder trickle
I do not have any experience with imported spherical powders, but I do know S341 and S121 is very similar in size. As such, I don't think the hole is too small for SA spherical powders.
