    Very special young man that.
I can comment as I have spent some time with him and he has a special place in my heart.

Pity his dad is a bit of a wanker though...

Kids sadly do no get to choose their parents

    Just kidding!!!

I enjoy following these stories, it seems Cody is a very fortunate young man, and it is great to see kids develop like this

    Love you too Davey Dave.

Your son has better judgment and morals than either of us...
We can learn from him Bud.

Says a lot about the Father when you see how the young gentleman is developing.
    Keep it up Treeman.

Cody has now finally come to full forefront, his eyes are now beyond believe, couple this with his sense of smell and audible perception, I am amazed at what I have created.

Cody now tracks like I wish I could or even wish I could have, he finds specks of blood that I photograph and then enlarge on phone to confirm. He has no qualms beating me to answer by licking rock and telling me 'its blood dad, here taste it"

He see's things on a ratio that is now embarrassing, 4 out of 6 dassie on first sweep, 3 of 6 on second and the only one on last sweep, thats 3 people looking.
He tells me things like like " listen Dad the birds are quiet", "look Dad, ahead the birds have taken off, its gone that way".

He now see's in the open about 5 to one on me and people tell me I see well, but I still beat him 20 to one in the thick, he tends t look down in the thick not through.
I need someone to take him further, twigs and sand stuff.
He is interested in gut content and will tell you that animal gutted here smells different to one gutted on that other farm. I had to come sniff a ostrich gutting at last hunt because, "no dad really, come smell, its totally different to last time, it does not stink dad, come smell"

I must admit that a drought ostrich smells much much better than a green years bird.
