Musgrave miniature rifle
Hi, I am new to this forum so I hope I am using the correct method of asking a question. I have been looking for a 1/2 scale miniature Musgrave rifle for some time. I believe about 100+ were made by Musgrave as a promotion years ago. I have a fair size collection of miniatures and would really like to add such a miniature. So, my question: Is there an owner of such a miniature somewhere in South Africa who would be prepared to sell to me?

Re: Musgrave miniature rifle
A half scale miniature Musgrave rifle was found for me and I am now the proud owner. The piece now resides in my collection of miniature firearms.

Re: Musgrave miniature rifle
I an new and I can't seem to find a way to post a picture. However the miniature is half scale and overall 559 mm long with a 4.45 mm bore only about 20 mm deep (barrel not bored through or rifled) Very nice checkering of the grip and forearm. The front sight shroud was missing, but no more, as I have machined up a replacement.

Re: Musgrave miniature rifle
At last I found it. The miniature Musgrave is half scale with a bore (only 20mm deep) of about 4.45 mm. So that would equate to a 9mm full size rifle.Half scale miniature Musgrave rifle+e.jpg
