Howsit gents, a friend accidentally broke my 1301 Comp charging handle today, where can I get a new one?
Best Regards

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
Is he really a friend? Like really truly a friend?
Being a 1301 owner myself, I'm paying close attention to this thread to see how this plays out.
Chat to Tim at TacHQ. Hoping he can sort you out.

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
Haha yes a good friend, and brother in law, he helped me out today by shooting a bunch of wild cattle from a rented chopper. Thanks I'll give them a call tomorrow. Who are the importers for Beretta?

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
I dunno who the importers are but rumour has it they suck. So, there's that.
Tell you what though, invite me to shoot cattle from your rented Huey and I may just give you my charging handle!
For the heck of it, try emailing Beretta. There's the off chance that they might be able to send you a replacement or at least expedite the process of getting it to the local agents.

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
Spartan Arms might have something lying around for you
I’m not too sure but would this not be something a gunsmith could make? My charging handle looks pretty simple one my 1301?

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
Years back I knew a military gunsmith (now in heaven) that made a charging handle for a old WW2 MP40. I wanted to restore all of the foreign weapons in the unit to shooting condition. He turned a new one on a lathe, and fit it to the breechblock. That MP40 is still shooting today.
A gunsmith can make you a custom one according to your specs and size.

Hailstorm may have a Briley replacement.

Re: Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
Howsit gents, I tried Rapalasa first, they don't have any and aren't planning a order soon. They recommended trying to order from Beretta directly.
I see that Briley do make an aftermarket charging handle, but havn't heard back from Hailstorm yet.
I havn't had a chance to try the other guys, will get back on that tomorrow, thanks for all the suggestions.
