Default Value of a vintage Parker Hale gun rest

I am looking to put a price to the vintage Parker Hale gun rest I have.

Could those in the know please guide me for an indicative price, I'm looking to put it up for sale.

The ballpark figures I have been told by my gunsmith that I could get for the rest are R650 to R750 depending on condition, this one is good so I gather R750 may be justified?

I haven't seen many around locally so I'm unsure of any possible interest that collectors or anybody else for that matter may have or even if the price range is correct?

In the photos below the 150mm ruler is obviously for scale purposes, exact dimensions can be included if required but I feel it's unnecessary as there is only one variation that was made that I am aware of.

    Hi Andrew.

I gather it's nothing special by your comment then or is there a collectability factor?

Not at all, they are from the 50's and early 60's when my Dad was shooting Bisley. That's why I have retained them, was not aware that they carried some value.

I understand Andrew, apologies, I misunderstood your reply. 😁

They are quite unique of what I have discovered on my asking around with the older gen shooters and checking on the Google portal.
A pocket sized short monopod shooting stick made generations before it's time... 😂

So you suffer from the challenge called the "Seesaw Effect" when lying down on your beerboep, it happens... I can relate to that in a smaller way.

Some have a 6 pack profile, others have either a mini keg, a standard keg or they ultimately have a barrel.

What the judgemental 6 packers don't realise is that with time the volume generally grows and the vessels merge to form one unit... It happens to most.
Either a keg or a barrel in various sizes will be accepted by most.

This goes hand in hand with a waning foot size, the visible foot size reduces as the horizontal expansion increases.
