Oberndorf-Mauser M94
Hello mense
Hope someone can provide me with some more info regarding 2 rifles I intend to purchase.
Both identical M94 Oberndorf Mausers.
1. 9,3 x 62 with 1,5-6 Zeis Diavari Z
2. 30-06 with 6x Zeis Diatal Z
I can find very little info on these rifles on the internets.
I have found the german and english manual.
My questions are.
1. Does anybody know anything or has more experience with the model?
2. Any idea of the value?
I am almost certain to make an offer anyway. They are in as new condition.
Would just love a sanity check as it would be the biggest single firearm purchase I ever make.
TIA

Re: Oberndorf-Mauser M94
Set like that, more than I can afford most days, when business is good I would enter the bidding at R30 000 and then hope I am in poor company when traveling towards the 40 K mark.
Dream stuff to me though.

Two of those in 7x57 and 9.3x62 would melt my heart!

Re: Oberndorf-Mauser M94
I checked on the German forums and there are no serious complaints. One person mentioned the 9.3x62 being slightly heavy, which is understandable. All commented one the accuracy and soft /silent action.
The only complaints were about some of the rifles made under a "Titan" name. There were some changes which caused trouble with feeding from a particular magazine.
They sell for €650 - €800 used.
