I already invested in some lee dies, some almost 200 brass cases and cleaning equipment for a 40.

And personally I liked the feel of the 40, and i know the majority prefer 9mm.
Glock is probably the most well supported in terms of parts and accessories regardless of the chambering. No Gen 5 .40 pistols are available yet, though so you'll have to settle for a Gen 4.

nope. luckily i stay close to MRST and it nice to know that i can walk in and collect what i need from MRST.

never understood the spares thing hey, there is the maintenance side for wear and tear predominantly being springs and there is breakage part which is the unlikely part of things going south unless peoples stubby little fingers touch things.

When firearms are marketed, its not like manufacturer advertises recommending a few spare sets and for the ones that do it will be subtle included in the box upon purchase and those are normally for the breakage.

I am running a G22 G4 as a range toy. Felt recoil is negligible for me. Accuracy is awesome. Alternate between DPM spring system, standard dual recoil spring and ISMI spring system (Gen 3 style with metal guide rod) for different ammo. It is a fantastic handgun. Looking to buy the G35 in the future to add to the family.
