Default (Spartan Arms International) SAI MK2, any owners with feedback?

Hi, it is that time of the year for me, where the taxman takes interest in my hobbies and wants to buy me a new gun...
That being said, I have had a couple of suggestions to look into the (Spartan arms International) SAI MK2 and cant find any discussion relating to the MK2.

Anyone who owns one and has some feedback on it? TIA

I'd also be interested to get some real-world feedback about these rifles.

All I've found so far on GS are odds and ends in this thread:

    http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/show...at-an-AR/page8

I contacted them, but they were not very forthcoming when I tried to get build specs out of them, which cooled my interest.

Also consider the Aero Precision that Southern Sky Ops sell, or the Radical Arms from Bellum Arcus - there is much more info out there about these and they price quite reasonably as well.

Just a follow up on this thread, I got myself the MK2. Overall impression thus far:

Solid build quality, no play between the upper an lower, thus far sent 80 rounds (mixed 223 and 556) through it and no visible or noticeable issues well at least within the confines of a indoor range. I tried different mags no hassles. For the cost of this rifle you get more than what your paying for. Had minor cosmetic issues that was almost immediately addressed.

Demis was super helpful and I received great service.

The only downfall (as a fyi) I would say is the furniture used does not sit super flush you can however on the day of purchase "upgrade" the furniture for some extra Rubles and no material available for perusing other than that great rifle at a good price!

Is that a 16 or 18 inch barrel?

It is the 16inch, I do believe you can get them in 18, 16, and 14 but I am not sure.

    Got mine two weeks ago.

Put a 3-12 scope, Angled foregrip and Medium Suppressor from Warrior. (Realized that I have to get the adjustable gas block after spending sometime on the range...)

First 200 rounds through the gun with absolutely no hiccups.
Shot relatively tight groupings at 100m. The shooter can still improve a lot though
