Dot torture: torture indeed!

Damn, that's real torture.

We use those. We call them DEA dots. We have 6 colored dots that have random 1-6 numbers in them. The instructor will say blue 3, yellow 3 red 5. Then you put those number of shots in each color dot. Sometimes they call out numbers and colors mixed. It certainly adds stress to the practice. You have to remember the call out then shoot. One variation has colored dots with different words of colors in them. The call out can really mess you up when they say word blue 3 the word red 5 when the word blue is in a yellow dot and red is in a green dot.

Dot torture type drills are great. However, they have limited utility and drive frustration if you can't hold an acceptable group at a given distance with no time pressure.
