Thanks for the responses. I knew it was not worth a lot but R100-R150 sounds bad... it must almost be worth that in scrap metal. I know that it was made pre-1990 so I thought it might be a bit better than current chinese flea market junk.

So I don't know if a poll could be added to the thread? but if someone could that would be great.
I am going to bet 5000 theoretical internet points that Octane cannot sell the sword for more than R100.00
I would need a signed sales agreement and receipt to prove the actual sale and thus redemption of the points.
