There was both there, because the car radio sound system was 12 v and the lights were 240 V. There was a kettle, compressor and HP Water cleaner that also worked off the 240 V.

You can see the 240 V in cables in top left of photo Blue, White, Red

If I recall correctly there was a 12 volt board under that one, all backed onto milk crates wired together.

Now for the coupe de grace, there was a also a micro jet water spray system in that roof that sprayed a mist when it got real bad hot. Admittedly the spray system went around the perimeter wall of the room.

    'n Boer maak 'n plan.
You go there for the hunting or an electrical inspection for older people that need to sleep with indoor luxury?
Appears no more animals on the farm and now you are frustrated.
Sleep in the veld boet that is what you are used to except when at home sharing wife's cultured life style.
You made my day proving that you are aging fast.

I just remembered this old photo on wall, the wiring and milk crate mounting system can be seen - zoom in.

No lady in kitchen there, pistol was a old Gegado pellet gun that was no longer loadable, it had like set in a position and stayed that way.

Ya, Johan was his name, had a manner about him that separated him from the rest, some how he was always apart from the group, not unfriendly nor dismissive, but if you were asked to count the number of people there, you would get 7 + Johan - not 8 peoples.

    Treeman.
Look at the photo above 2009 date either a lady's or a guy's legs with long shorts and up right to boy's head an arm with a wrist watch above the white pot. Maybe I am seeing a ghost figure.

Also saw that - possibly the electrician.
