Default Anyway to Macgyver a jag that is too small onto a rod

So here's my problem. I bought a 9mm and 308 Tipton spear jag. 5 minutes after paying I realised that the thread was male and my Ram rods were also male.

Contacted 247 Hunter via e-mail and have had no response to date. Disappointing on their part. They shipped super fast but no response to my emails.

Anyway not only are they male but the thread is too small for the female rifle Ram connector rods.

Anyone got any solutions, just write them off or does anyone have an ingenious way of connecting them somehow to the Ram rods.

Looked into buying rods that fit but they are over R1000 which I'm not prepared to pay.

I did find these Sudamix adapters but while they will give me a female thread the jag's thread will still be too small.

You can get adapters. Usually around R80. Gunsmithy makes some.

So just to make sure with regards to the S&O one, the one end fits onto a Ram rod and the other onto a slightly smaller Tipton thread?

Yes, but phone first. At the price of petrol, you don't want to drive for nothing.

Yeah might as well double the price if you include petrol :) Will pick up some other stuff while I'm at it just to make it worthwhile.

Thanks for the tip guys, went past Wildman and by pure luck they worked perfectly! Exactly the right fit.
If in doubt, give the guys on Gunsite a shout!
