Re: EFF Brackenfell High saga
No. He was standing up for something. He tried to call them out on their nonsense. He tried to bridge a gap and create common ground. He was not there to incite violence. He did not make them more brazen, any more than a girl in a short skirt makes a serial rapist more brazen.
He just got taught a lesson that many of us already know, that is no reasoning with terrorists or criminals or gangsters. I think it may have been foolish to even try, and I commend his brave and principled attempt. I am glad he tried. He managed to expose the EFF leadership for what they are to everyone watching.
Let it be known who took us down this path.

Re: EFF Brackenfell High saga
The Nazis were-
1) A mob of racist and antisemitic thugs;
2) Wore uniforms even in Parliament;
3) Used violence and intimidation against anyone who disagreed with them;
4) Were opposed to freedom of speech, press and belief, and believed that certain ethnic groups should not be allowed to own property or have their basic rights protected;
5) Were led by a mentally disturbed demagogue with one testicle.
1) inflame emotions, be emotive, talk emotive. Peoples emotions are powerful tools.
2) Be identifiable, brown shirts, black shirts don't cut it any more, neither do red, but the beret is a winner.
3) Find a scapegoat that people can relate to, land is good because some oke bought Faeces farm when it was sequestrated, Nationalise banks, lots of tin there.
4) Walk the legal tight rope, but have a powerful legal team to dig you out of the dwang.
5) Channel the emotive angry rhetoric towards the scapegoats, keep it just on the border of legality, have the sense to tone it down a bit when the international press is present.
6) Keep target scapegoats as unsettled as possible, even minor or non events can be useful tools if you can twist to your agenda.
Don't bother too much about facts, make up anything you feel may be useful.
7) The psychological aspect is the most important, keep your target groups unsettled, uncomfortable and unhappy. Impact their lives as much as possible.

Re: EFF Brackenfell High saga
His uncle is on the board of the SABC, so quite an upstanding family.
I saw on Twatter that the uncle says "right wing trolls" are attcking him on Twatter and they are clearly anti-semitic. I would argue it has less to do with them being Jewish, and more to do with them being morally bankrupt pieces of excrement.
