Black Friday "specials"
What a shocker... When you start seeing shops sell Taurus handguns for R8500 and S&W M&P's for R16000 on a Black Friday sale, you know we're in for some tough times...

Or they are taking people for a ride as people go into a buying flat spin as they just assume everything is cheaper because it is Black Friday.

Bought myself a pair of Nikon Monarch 5 10x42 binos for R4700, normally retail for R7000 at Kloppers.

Most hilarious one I've seen so far...UTG AR15 magazines marked down from R395 to R360...wow that's such a huge Black Friday saving...how about "no"..

Re: Black Friday "specials"
One gun shop in Pretoria is offering Black Friday 'deals' that are still more expensive than normal prices elsewhere - but there are some nuggets in amongst the catalogues, which must be more of a stock clearance exercise.
Did see someone - forget who - advertising Mauser 18s for 13k, which is a decent amount below the 16-18k retail price (for threaded barrel), but still more than a year or two ago (think the M18s in SA were more like 10-12k a couple years back?)
