Re: Black Friday "specials"
Thats a proper saving!!
Heres my current shopping list:
3 or 4 tins of handgun propellant
1000 bullets from bulletcorp
Picatinny rail for my 10/22 (license pending)
Daniels supertuck for my G48 (license pending)
Another 1000 bullets from bulletcorp (around end of January)
All the small pistol primers
Dawson/trijicon sights for the G48 (license pending)
A course with Arno Barlow
A course with Ardian Rosslee
Another 1000 bullets from bulletcorp
And thats only the next 2-3 months.
No point in using credit and making dept just to save a couple of hundred rands.....
Going on holiday in 2,5 weeks, Port Alfred for a few night and then Morgan Bay hotel for just over a week, literally got the penthouse so yeah, money is tight and beer aint cheap
I have learnt to stop buying shit I dont need just to sell it again after a few months....

Re: Black Friday "specials"
Yeah I saw the same. Also not seeing bullets on special. I have a strong suspicion that it's because importers make so little on them to begin with, they can't really afford "specials" anymore.

Re: Black Friday "specials"
I don't blame retailers for a less discounted black friday
Governement did it's best to try kill businesses,
Alot of shops had 5 months dry
Funny how the formal sector got hammered, but the informal sector thrived (haircuts in the CBD for example)

Re: Black Friday "specials"
BLACK friday in SA is just people over extending their credit even further i.e) GAME cards
Every single one of my staff members have over due accounts for shit they never needed, PLASMA TV etc.
Some haven't paid since 2010
Never seen any black friday specials on par with the states (yes yes economies of scale etc etc)
The olight torch discounts all over my feed are still ridiculously high. I actually never even knew it was a Chinese torch until recently
