Holster choices
I am hoping for some advice please.
Thinking of going over to AIWB.
Currently I am using https://www.danielsholsters.co.za/sh...ster-1-5-fomi/. Great holster, carries well on hip. Tried getting a feel for AIWB with this holster and it is super uncomfortable. I understand it is not made for the task, but worried that if I purchase a purpose built holster it is still going to uncomfortable. In your experience does the purpose built holster make difference enough for the purchase?
Looking at the https://www.danielsholsters.co.za/sh...endix-holster/.
Added info: Shield using a Daniels EDC cobra belt.

Re: Holster choices
The claw and wedge make a massive difference, so heres what I did when I was in your position: I got a claw from daniels and a soft loop with strut (gives for a bit of movement for the gun on your belt) then I made a wedge out of some kydex pressing foam and insulation tape just to give it a go.
Was much better but still sucked for the first 43-4 days.
Once I was kinda sure that I really want to transition from IWB to AIWB, I bought the Super Tuck AIWB with soft loop, strut, claw and wedge from them

Re: Holster choices
Thanks Steven, forgot I have the claw, bought it with the holster, added a foam block and put the claw on and giving it a try.
Tried before with just the claw but was not much better. Dont know why I haven't though of just sticking something on there for a wedge.
