New Motivation - please review and grade
Hi everyone
I'm a little stressed out.
This is my first self written motivation.
It is for Section 16: Glock 23 Gen 4 40S&W.
I already have a Taurus subcompact 40 S&W in processing under Section 15 OSS.
I'm about to apply for endorsement with NHSA and send them the motivation, however, I wanted to post it here for criticism before I do.
Let me know what you think / what your thoughts are - Did I miss anything important?
Below is the Link: Just click 'download' and open the PDF.

Thanks in advance

Re: New Motivation - please review and grade
Comprehensive!
But bear in mind, they mostly are looking for specific things ITO FCA;
I begin my apps with this:
"Mr XXXXXXXXXX states under oath:
I am an adult male, 41 years of age, with ID number XXXXXXXX, residing at XXXXXXXX.
My contact number is XXXXXXXX.
I am a natural person see a copy of my ID attached (see annexure “A”.)
I have competency to possess firearms, (see annexure “B1” [XXXXXXXX] and “B2” [XXXXXXXX] attached.)
I am a dedicated sport shooter and to this end I submit proof by attaching annexure “C”.
I hereby apply for a firearm licence in terms of Section 16 of the Firearms Control Act (Act 60 of 2000) for the purpose of dedicated sport shooting. "
And here's my checklist, if it adds any value:
- 2 x ID copies (Annexure B)
- 2 x ID photos
- SAPS Competency Certs (Annexure C1 C2)
- Proof of Residence (Annexure A)
- NSA Proof of membership2018-2019 (Annexure D2)
- NSA DedicatedSports Confirmation 2020(Annexure D1 + D3)
- NSA Shooting Activities (Annexure G)
- Licences & XXXXX Club Membership (Annexure F)
- NSA Endorsement (Annexure E)
- Safe photos x 2 (one with door locked; one showing interior and bolts)(Annexure K1 K2)
- Gunsmith Report (Annexure J)
- SAPS350 (Annexure I)
- SAPS271 from Dealer (Annexure H)

I might be wrong so please excuse. Is the safe up to spec?
I thought it had to have 3mm walls, 6mm door, 3 securing bolts, 4/5/6 locking bolts?

Re: New Motivation - please review and grade
FCA:
16. (1) A firearm in respect of which a licence may be issued in terms of this section is any—
(a) handgun which is not fully automatic;
(b) rifle or shotgun which is not fully automatic;
(c) any semi-automatic shotgun manufactured to fire no more than five shots in succession without having to be reloaded;
Fool-proof way to determine this and ensure your app fulfills those requirements a)- c) as per FCA, is to get a G/S report stating such.
Note: I wasn't paying for those reports so it was quick n easy, but apps sailed through nevertheless.
