    I would suggest buy a decent safe and store your firearms at a good friend or family members house. Take all the keys for the the safe along. Insure the rifles at Rifle sure for extra peace of mind.
    I did that when I did my Ireland stint.

    Sign a rental agreement with you family or friends in order to have a ligitimate reason for storing your firearms at the address. Do an address change at SAPS.

    Sparky, good to hear from you again. Sparky, contact Johan Greyling ..discuss this with him. He will store the rifles on a long term for you. The challenge being the licenses expiring while you live abroad..if you can renew it ..it will be just fine...this is plan A

    Plan B
    Transfer the rifles to his SAP 350 STOCK ...transfer it back to your name after your long period of absence.

    Either plan will work for you. Let me know how you want to do this.
