Competency Status

Popped in to my DFO here in Knysna this morning to get a status report on my application, seeing that I have never received any SMS's.

He gave me my reference number, which I never received, and had a look on their system as to the progress. My status says "PREPARATION OF CRIMINAL PROFILE". Yip, all capital letters. My DFO said he's never seen one like this, but said that he has seen some weird stuff lately.

Has anyone else had something like this?

Will definitely keep everyone up to date. I must have been sleepwalking and done something strange! Weird.

Apologies - is your competency renewal or additional competency required to go to the CFR?

MY renewal and additional competency applications have been sitting with the Provincial DFO, going on for 3 months now. No changes on the system, just shows "RECEIVED AT PROV DFO FOR QUALITY CONTROL".
