    Default Southern Masked Weaver.

    For me, birds are very difficult to photograph, they rarely remain still and they move when you least expect them to. However, this is not always a bad thing. Occasionally, by accident, you get a photo that can not be planned.

    We've all seen weavers take off, but I have never seen them look like that, probably because it happens too fast for the brain to register. But, when captured on film, you see a fraction of a second frozen in time.

    It seems that the camera was possibly set on the LS icon...

    Camera is a Canon SX70HS and it was set on auto, although Fire-stick is correct in that luck played the major role.
