This is not my view. But:

Its regarding their names and branding.

So in short he said. Think of what happens if you have to shoot and do shoot. You come in front of a judge or prosecutor. And they might not be overly knowledge d in firearms or ammunition. And they ask why did you have to use a ammunition named "Punisher" As the name alone might create an impression in their minds of deciding in advance a certain outcome you had in mind by using this type of ammunition.
Paul did a test on Ranger 147gr , and the results weren't super great.
Seems he got better results with the 115gr. Although is means are in no way scientific haha

    Love his channel

Not the first time that the 147 grain Ranger has been questioned. After all it is really just a +p 38 special equivalent. The Ranger T +P+ 127 on the other hand has a Stirling reputation, including some actual use relayed on this very forum.

    No, not in my opinion.
The 147 Gn shoot better, I find follow up shots MUCH easier with them.... Especially in short barreled guns

When you shoot them out at some point to refresh will be fine, don't stress it.

I know ballistic gel tests are not the end all and be all, but lucky gunner has videos and images from their site on a whole bunch of ammo they have tested. Based on that, I've picked 147gr rangers.

There are different rounds and calibers on their lab page.
