    Default Hello from Cape Town!

    Hi there from Cape Town

I recently completed my proficiency and now gathering documents to submit my competency. Not sure how long it will be before I get my first Firearm. Been reading a few threads on this forum, good load of information. Will be applying for Self Defense but really looking into getting active with sports shooting and becoming a responsible Firearm owner. Any ideas on where to get good tactical training on this side of the land?

    Hi there.

Joining False Bay Sport Shooting Club might be a good idea and they also offer training.

City Guns also offers training courses and you can shop for firearms at the same time but their website isn't that great.

    Good luck.

I take that back, no point in joining FBSSC unless you have a firearm, but you can do training through them.

Welcome! If you purchase a firearm you can get it transferred to FBSSC, obviously you'll have to pay storage fees unless purchasing it through them, but then you can shoot it at the range while your application is in process!

In Cape Town there is pretty much only one name in terms of top notch training and that is MultiDimensional Warriors (MDW) they regularly host courses at FBSSC and are supper knowledgeable and excellent trainersl! Something else worthwhile is taking a Stop The Bleed course with Wild Medix based at CHS Bunker!
