Here is a very recent study (published 12 April 2021) showing that, across five continents, there was a link between longer delays from viral introduction to lockdowns and more infections at lockdown and more deaths 1 month after lockdown.

Again Messor - this is at odds with your theory that excess mortality is increased by lockdown. Can you elaborate on what drives your theory?

Here is another from Jan 2021: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1...1250604v1.full

And here is a proudly South African study on excess mortality and the compare to COVID reported deaths. https://www.samrc.ac.za/sites/defaul...cessDeaths.pdf

I reference excess mortality because you insist that the virus is not deadly at all - while the increased excess mortality globally suggests the opposite. You then responded that the increase in excess mortality was caused by the world's lockdown measures, not by the virus. The articles that I have posted appear to prove that the opposite is again true.

Are these studies incorrect? Do you perhaps have any statistical data or similar studies which might support your theory that there is a positive correlation between lockdown measures and increased excess mortality?

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32521411/
Results suggest that there were an additional 968 weekly deaths that officially did not involve Covid-19, compared to what would have otherwise been expected. It is possible that some people are dying from Covid-19 without being diagnosed, and/or that there are excess deaths due to other causes as a result of the pandemic.
Given that under reporting is highly unlikely in the areas covered by this study, I would say this tells a story.....

Research in low and middle income countries, however, has found higher mortality rates during economic recessions

The economic shock caused by efforts to containSARS-CoV-2 is larger than that arising from the2007-09 financial crisis. It is therefore critical thatmodels that aim to understand the effect of covid-19policies on health also consider lives lost as a resultof the economic consequences of the response to thepandemic to avoid portraying a false choice betweenthe economy and health

Lockdowns can also cause long term health harms, such as fromdelayed treatment and investigations. Delays in the diagnosis andtreatment of various types of cancer, for example, can allowprogression of cancer and affect patientssurvival. A three monthdelay to surgery is estimated to cause more than 4700 deaths a yearin the UK.13In the US, delays in screening and treatment areestimated to cause 250 000 additional preventable deaths of cancerpatients each year.14Furthermore, a sharp decrease in the numberof admissions for acute coronary syndromes and emergencycoronary procedures has been observed since the start of thepandemic in the US15and Europe.16In England, the weekly numberof hospital admissions for coronary syndromes fell by 40% betweenmid-February and the end of March 2020. Fear of exposure to thevirus stopped many patients from attending hospital, putting themat increased risk of long term complications of myocardialinfarction.1

For every three deaths caused by coronavirus, there were another two caused by the impact of the lockdown, a report says.

For the overall population, the increase in the death rate following the COVID-19 pandemic implies a staggering 0.89 and 1.37 million excess deaths over the next 15 and 20 years, respectively.

Likely none, but I know there are a few that would give their left nut to inject their newborns with the leftover vaccine from used syringes.
