"According to the Florida Health Department, 61% of the population is vaccinated."

"Dr. Yvonne Johnson, Chief Medical Officer at Baptist South Miami Hospital, said the number of patients in her COVID ward has quadrupled in the past 3 weeks. “Eighty to eighty-five percent of those people who are hospitalized are unvaccinated. And 100 percent of the people in my IUC are unvaccinated. All those people are suffering unnecessarily.”

"Other hospitals like Memorial Health Care System say they are overwhelmed “This morning, we had over 420 patients with COVID. And 55 are in the ICU.” “In the ICU, 55 people are fighting for their lives and only one of them is vaccinated."

CDC study shows 74% of people infected in Massachusetts Covid outbreak were fully vaccinated

    • About three-fourths of people infected in a Massachusetts Covid-19 outbreak were fully vaccinated, according to new data published Friday by the CDC.
    • The new data, published in the U.S. agency’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, also found that fully vaccinated people who get infected carry as much of the virus in their nose as unvaccinated people.

Agree completely! Paid for my wife's cancer treatment many years ago and I doubt if our contributions since have covered that cost.

I paid cash for my late wife. And we could decide with our medical professionals about her treatment. No approvals and refusals and limits, etc. What was decided on as the best was what she got.

From the article linked, only 4 vaccinated people are in hospital.

    Sounds serious..

You would be surprised at what I have seen first hand on multiple occasions.

If you have difficulty reading my posts and comprehending what I said then ask someone else to explain it to you.

But yes, I probably never saw first hand what a real Bi-polar case looks like. So I have to go on the hundreds of times I had to go to someone's house who's shithead teenager was breaking the place down because they were "Bi-polar". And every single time I found their baggy of Bi-polar under their bed or hidden somewhere in their room. Mostly the Bi-polar was made up of dried up green leaves with a very identifiable type of leaf, but sometimes it looked like mushrooms and sometimes it looked like tablets.

So I have seen enough Bi-polar to be of the opinion that not all Bi-polar is ACTUAL Bi-polar..

Looks like I might be as bad at reading and comprehension as you are at tact and the diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

I couldn’t fork out 30K a month on drugs plus blood transfusions every 2 weeks, plus hospital costs, that was just for my gran this last year.

A state where 69 % are fully vaccinated. 74 % is not far off, and its based on 469 cases associated with big events only

"The findings in this report are subject to at least four limitations. First, data from this report are insufficient to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, including the Delta variant, during this outbreak. As population-level vaccination coverage increases, vaccinated persons are likely to represent a larger proportion of COVID-19 cases. Second, asymptomatic breakthrough infections might be underrepresented because of detection bias. Third, demographics of cases likely reflect those of attendees at the public gatherings, as events were marketed to adult male participants; further study is underway to identify other population characteristics among cases, such as additional demographic characteristics and underlying health conditions including immunocompromising conditions.*** MA DPH, CDC, and affected jurisdictions are collaborating in this response; MA DPH is conducting additional case investigations, obtaining samples for genomic sequencing, and linking case information with laboratory data and vaccination history. Finally, Ct values obtained with SARS-CoV-2 qualitative RT-PCR diagnostic tests might provide a crude correlation to the amount of virus present in a sample and can also be affected by factors other than viral load.††† Although the assay used in this investigation was not validated to provide quantitative results, there was no significant difference between the Ct values of samples collected from breakthrough cases and the other cases. This might mean that the viral load of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 is also similar. However, microbiological studies are required to confirm these findings."

In the light of you extensive experience and apparent august knowledge in this regard, please enlighten us unenlightened plebs as to the relative frequency of the imaginary mental disorders you have referred to previously, as opposed to genuine bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic breaks precipitated by the "baggy of bipolar" you found under their bed, consisting of "dried up green leaves with a very identifiable type of leaf, but sometimes it looked like mushrooms and sometimes it looked like tablets"?

In addition, please inform us how we should differentiate between imaginary states and those that genuinely require medical or psychological intervention? How should a "shithead teenager was breaking the place down" be most effectively managed?

I'm sorry M43, but I'm afraid the Dunning-Kruger effect appears to manifest in significant aspects of your reply.

But if you had kept and saved/invested your medical aid contributions from the last 5-10 years...
And there are so many other possible money pits. But I understand your situation. Been there ... didn't get the t-shirt because I couldn't afford it. In the end medical aids are money making rackets that will let people die for money. And you looking after yours to the best of your ability is what counts in the end.
