To the dealers that have posted. Is the method of reporting the 350 info a paper document, PDF of the form or an electronic transaction?

When the white cards started. CFR was going to get an online system which linked with dealers. So that stock and ammo sales was apparently going to be done all online.

Ill let you take two guesses if that ever happened from CFR side. Both answers start with lol.

Paper work and killing trees is king when it comes to CFR.

    Happens everywhere you go.

Lately private entities are also behaving like the Gestapo when it comes to service.

I will bet real money that the dealer has done everything that they reasonably can to fulfill their end of the arrangements. I will further bet that the firearm WAS on the dealer's stock, but that the crumbling CFR system has moved it back onto the import permit.

    Sometimes this happens multiple times.

How do you fix the problem in the short term? Keep moving it back onto the dealer's code until it 'sticks'.
How do you fix the problem in the long term? Stop voting for cadre deployment and corruption.

Didn't the dealers association have a court case about the electronic system some time back?

R450 to 600 million was spent on software development and nothing came of it.

Not really. Alot of people that got approved without proper tenders or knowledge of work to be done. Scored some nice houses and cars out of this deal. As per usual.

    Yep!

And the judge set down strict rules that CFR was supposed to adhere to... which they didn't... and which they are allowed to skate on.

BTW, the electronic connectivity is a mandated and integral part of the Act... but SAPS dislikes the concept of ceding control over any part of the system so they just unlawfully refuse!
