No pew pew pistol powder in entire Southern Cape.

The 1956 Act was replaced by Act 15 of 2003. The regulations have however not been approved and that is why the new act has not been implemented.

From what I read in Chapter 1, Section 2 the practice of reloading is exempted. I have however seen something about a max amount of 10kg that has been proposed. These two clauses seem to be in conflict. We need to press for the new law to be put in force.

Getting some from other provinces also proves to be impossible, as apparently, RAM may not transport the powder. How the hell must we reload?

We have Wildman George, Kloppers George which are the two big guns and even they are dry.

If you ask a "friend" travelling to another province they usually also want a very rare tin of powder for themselves, and ass they are only allowed one tin per license per day it's a total f---up.

Are there any dealers traveling pats this way that can "relieve" the problem? Maybe we can get a bulk order together as most of our club pistol shooters guys are all running "dry"

Boet, find a Gunshop in gauteng that has stock, pay them for it, get Blu logistics to courier it.

6.1.3 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in regulation 6.1.1 of these regulations, a person who is the holder of a valid firearm licence issued in terms of the Arms and Ammunition Act, 1969, may on production of such licence obtain 500 grams of nitrocellulose propellants. For this purpose such valid firearm licence shall be deemed to be a permit issued in terms of section 7(5) of the Explosives Act, No. 26 of 1956, and regulation 6.1.1 of these regulations.

I think the last amendment to that was in 1990 or so

Handgun shooters suck hind tit in George.

In every single gun store in Gauteng that I walked in during December they had some type of handgun powder.
