Yip, used to load 13 grains of MS200 behind the 45grain THV. Chronies out at 2220ft/sec out my CZ75. It's not possible to load any more MS200 in the round.

I have no idea what the charge weight was. It was a compressed load of 121 with the hollow base filled too.

You could de-prime the case with a paper clip and light finger pressure.

It did go through 3 level 3A vest panels though.
My understanding is that their primary purpose was to defeat body armour.

Yes, you kind of wished for the 38spl - .357 equivalent in a 9mm case, just to see where the reload volume was going to end.
I have 38/357, and 9mm what appears to be factory loaded ammunition in all the mentioned variations, red, and black and if I recall correctly amber/yellow plastic tips. I also have the ones with the hollow point and pin in centre and some what appears to be an aluminium "ice cream cone" bullets in 357.
I shot most of the loaded stuff out over the years and all the bullets, the bullets could not be cycled, you loaded the mag and shot them out, if you cocked and did not use round it often decapped the plastic cap when you cleared the chamber.
If I recall most of this speed freak stuff was French and a lot of the crazy variations was South African embargo time creations. If there are any 38/357 live ammunition collectors interested in some of what/if any there is left they can contact me. (I am really uncertain what is still there)

That was basically the "load with a teaspoon and squash it down" approach?

Sounds about right. These bullets were hollow on the bottom end. Some guys I know would fill the case to overflowing and then seat the bullets. Here be dragons indeed!
