Re: Please help with Bayonet ID and value
Looks like some sort of akm pattern bayonet.

Re: Please help with Bayonet ID and value
Definitely an AK 47/AKM Type Bayonet. Sought after item during the Border War. The hole in the knife clips onto the stud of the scabbard and then it becomes a cable cutter. The only thing that looks aftermarket is the serial no. Sure the originals had no serial no on it and if it had it would have been stamped and not engraved (dont take this as fact)

Re: Please help with Bayonet ID and value
Definitely AKM, not AK47, and from one of the Soviet satellite states. Not one of the common ones like Russian etc. It should have some arsenal markings on the blade or grip. Please share.
All AKM bayonets I have seen (more than plenty) were numbered like that (electric pencil not stamped, as stamping would dent the fragile steel scabbard) ex factory but the vast majority had the numbers roughly ground off for some reason.
