I have never seen a add or a thread or even some guy posing like with his geese or turkey. No penguin callers, outfits or canoe rigs.
    Must be very localized.

I am falling hook line and sinker for the joke!

Sorry for the inconvenience and we will discuss the possibility to re-schedule the event as per your request

I was more trying to figure penguins in Texas, I know there is much I have not seen, and much I will still be surprised by.
If ever I was really caught out, this is it, never saw it coming - the bear part, ya- they move around, but the penguins, I was thinkin "fresh water penguins?" "Huh!!", never even knew there were any.

I been away since Friday and got back a few hours ago, clean rifles check GS, move boat in, check GS, pack rods reels away, fool around on GS, eat bath and play with night vision.
Now, I have finished everything poured a beer and opened a packet of croissants, reading mail and was going to research penguin hunting in Texas.
Guess I do not need to do that any more.

Got a nice surprise email though !!!!!!!!!!!
Check out my Cheap Night Vision post

    The windchill is now -18c.

Don't have to shoot the penguins anymore. You just walk around with a bag and pick them up. They are frozen dead now.

The polar bears are smart. They went to the Salvation Army shelter. Peguins not so smart.

How long can you stay outside dressed properly at -18, is it minutes or hours.

As long as your body can generate heat to keep you warm, i.e. if you eat and drink you can survive until you die of old age.

Windchill now -23c. Polar bears are fleeing south to Mexico. More dead, frozen penuins. Snow 5cm deep now. 30cm expected tonight.
