Re: Talk PCC to me!
A nice simple app would be BulletDrop on iOS. I am sure Android have some.
The gold standard would be Strelok Pro. Buy it! Its worth it. And if your optic and reticle is not on the app, go on Facebook, join the Strelok group and ask for it to be added. The creator is a nice guy and makes a lot of effort. Ve ware, it will take some time to figure it all out, butcit is so worth it.
The basics are to see what your speed, bullet weight would affect the drop.
With Strelok you get all the drops at what distance. You just have to figure out at what distance to zero. Remember, you have 2 zeroes as the bullet is traveling in an arc.

Re: Talk PCC to me!
I have typed a long reply, but it went lost when submitting it. I will not swear…..
In any case, here is the short version:
From my Ruger PC Carbine, with Maxxtech 124 gr Factory ammo the difference in drop between 10 m and 35 m are less than a quarter inch. I 0 at 35 m.
Between the 124 gr and 140 gr Subsonic from S&B the difference at 35 m are also nothing to comment about.
I have not got to chrony shooting with the Ruger, but do have a silencer on. The “subsonic” S&B is not sounding Subsonic from the 16” barrel.

I dont really think its the bullet dropping at that distance, but more so an alignment or windage issue if I can call it that.
