I've got a tightly spaced, stainless steel wire mesh grid which came from a sewage plant but it has been completely burnt clean. Maybe there were a couple of kidney stones still stuck in it. HaHa LoL
Ill take a drain cover and send it for heat treatment, as in 72 hours in an oven

    Le Creuset.

We have a proud collection which come together over the last 16 years, and each has its story. For one of them, we opted to sleep the night in an airport and use the B&B's money to buy the pot.

Generally, few things beat cast iron for cooking. Except for pancakes. U till now, a guaranteed flop.

High quality stainless like say Scanpan or even Woolworths pots if they still make, does everything needed. As in with a proper base and they are no problem to clean. Cast iron is a pain being usually heavier and far more difficult to clean.

He built a frame with gas burners for it and it was the best stir fry grill ever. Also great for family reunion breakfast fry ups.

Always bought from a sale, mostly locally and one or two from a visit abroad.

Don't laugh, but I've got a broken one that's about 10mm or thicker. Was gonna take it to the scrap yard.
I can always pass it on to one of you guys to fiddle with

Are those enamel coated? Do you need to season them too?

Only the external is coated, internal has been seasoned many many years ago.
