    Unhappy AR15 licensing delays

    Hi everyone

I wanted to start this thread to discuss with anyone else who has recently bought an AR15 rifle and submitted their application under section 16 and is experiencing serious delays. I submitted my application on 22 July 2020, the last update was; "received at licensing section" and that was on the 23rd of October 2020. Since then I've heard nothing from them and they don't respond to emails as per usual CFR standards. Anybody else having the same problem? my app number starts with 836 by the way.

    Your response is appreciated.

    Normal for all firearms currently.
They are around apps that arrived at CFR about June or July 2020

@Tau01, you might want to swing by the intro section.

I applied end May 2020 for Shotgun. Was approved end November. Received card first week Jan 2021.

According to my time frame. If you only applied July. Your 2 months behind me. So you looking at March.

so lucky, I've heard of many people who applied in August and even September 2020 who's apps have been approved already. But enjoy the new purchase.
