Very interesting. Strange that until I saw the picture I never realy thought about their nesting habits. Kind of assume they just lay their egs on a patch of ground, not really making a nest. Very interesting and thanks for sharing!

Before they actually start sitting down to incubate the eggs they lay a number of eggs. The hens also lays eggs in other nests of the flock.
