Yellow Mongoose.
Yellow mongoose photographed at a resort at Gariep dam. While we have lots of them on the reserve, they are difficult to photograph, very rarely remaining still, this one was happy to pose for a picture. In Afrikaans it is known as a witkwas muishond or a rooimeerkat depending on where you are and who you ask.
