What is the price for a WWII vintage Luger in good condition?

Re: WWII Luger
You sure it’s not a VOPO? Either way around 8K I’d guess if it’s a VOPO and 10+ if it’s genuine WW2

Re: WWII Luger
Most will have WW2 eagles on them. After the war the East German Volkspolizei (VOPO) armed with surplus weapons. Lugers were stripped, refurbished and things like grips replaced and pressed back into service. As a result many parts don’t have matching serial numbers. Just because it’s a VOPO doesn’t mean it’s a shoddy gun. Vratvark on the forum had a beautiful example with waffen marks and all but 1 part had matching serial numbers.

Re: WWII Luger
There are many variations in Lugers which makes them a very much specialized collectors field. There is some info available online as well as a few books. Consulting with a Luger expert may get you in the right direction. The differences between a valuable collectible and a junk gun are not obvious to most of us.
