Re: Stages
My applications reached this stage on 9 Oct 2020; still no movement. It's been 134 business days in total and 105 business days since it last moved

Re: Stages
I have also been stuck at Received at Licencing section for 2 months now. It seems like the big holdup in the licence application process is at this stage🙈

Re: Stages
The stages are:
1) Excitement when you buy the gun
2) Excitement when you draw up your motivation
3) Excitement when you go hand in you app, followed shortly by trepidation after you experience SAPS DFO bureaucracy at its finest.
4) Denial they say 90 days to process and you are at 87 with it being stuck at Priovince
5) Anger after 119 days when you are told it’s 90 “weking” days
6) Depression when you realise you have wait longer till you get to jol with your new toy that is gathering dust
7) Acceptance - we are at the mercy of these fuckers and it’s already 103 “weking” days
8) Joy when the approval SMS is revived.
9) frustration followed by defeated acceptance when you realise you still have to wait for the card
10) exhilaration when the card finally arrives and you can pick up your gatt
There is another step 11) selective amnesia (corrected as per b20). This is when you go get another gun and forget about steps 3-9.Last edited by CorditeCrazy; 05-03-2021 at 11:10.
