    I believe it to be this one:
    The spider species Argiope lobata, commonly known as Lobed Argiope, belongs to the genus Argiope, in the family Araneidae.

    G/Orb spider, they get like half golf balls down here and web across only the most obvious best walk ways, paths.

    There’s a lot of these on Hennops trail and they are huge.

    I think it's Argiope australis.

    Nope yours looks right

    Correct. A friend who is an entomologist confirmed that it is Argiope Lobata.
