    Default Liteoptec / Honeybadger

This is a shout out to Liteoptec / Honeybadger and James for their great service.

I had one of their older medium opener models.

The old clips were a bit weak and this one bent and broke. I picked up a new clip only to discover that the screws holding the broken clip in were broken.

I sent the knife in to see if they could repair it.

They are replacing it at no cost to me instead.

They are good little blades for the price. I have a bunch of expensive stuff but I carry these. I won't cry if I lose it or break it.

That last bit, thats it for me.... dont want to cherish it, my current carry knife is a victorinox swiss army knife, but the lack of one handed operation does catch me quite often...

Is the D2 steel blades worth the extra money?

No idea. I'm no steel snob. As long as it takes an edge and keeps it reasonably well.

I'm still waiting over a year later for replacement scales

Glad you got great service, but after having two Honeys clips break,I went back to CRKT

Not knocking the knife, it's great value, but twice bitten makes me more than shy

    the clips.....
been threw 5 over a 2 year period on 2 knives at R90 each. it is a touch annoying.
knifes are great, use them hard and often, both still center, flip open well.
find the d2 does hold edge longer but not huge advantage.

I've been through plenty knife clips. Benchmade, CRKT, Spyderco etc. I am pretty hard on gear.

Some could be replaced, others could not.

I don't mind dropping a hundo on a knife clip once in a while, especially when they are easily obtainable.

I will concede that the clips on the HBs are a weak point not so much in design but material.

Yeah it would be awesome if I could have gotten some, I even offered to pay for them
I don't mind dropping money on stuff either as shit happens, but when you "register" the product and don't even get a reply?
    Meh never again

I've had my medium flipper for about 2 years and it works hard. Daily use. Dropped it from catwalks and used it as a bottle opener. No complaints at all.
