    Exactly. The many photos show the colour diversity clearly.

    Although a kingfisher, it feeds mainly on the ground and takes insects, reptiles and even snakes. The Australian Coockaburra also has a similar diet and living in woodlands. This bird is however much bigger than our local bird.
