    Default Hi everyone

I registered some time ago but only recently really started to read up on the forum.

Only starting the competency process now so studying everything from the processes to the best and most suitable firearms to own.

Looking forward to learn from the members!

Hello Cris & Welcome to the Club...

Good luck with the competancy process & studying.
It can actually be quite interesting, so try to enjoy the whole experience.

Yes it will seem to take ages to process after you've handed everything in at the SAPS, but during that time you can do some homework on what firearm is going to be best for you.

Before selecting a firearm a good idea is to research anything you may be interested in / seen in a gun shop, on YouTube before you purchase.
You can watch reviews on almost anything there, amunition as well.
I must have watched so many video clips on the last firearm I purchased (before buying / & while waiting for license) that I knew it inside out by the time i actually took it out the box.
