    Default Vektor SP2 Competition

    My old school Vektor SP2 Competition. Based on the standard Vektor SP2 pistol in .40 S&W but modified ex factory with an extended beavertail on the frame, serrations on the front slide, straight trigger, single action, extended mag release and safety lever, and competition sights.

    Lovely shooting pistol and very well made - proudly MADE in SOUTH AFRICA back in the early nineties.

    I am considering purchasing a SP1 9mm barrel (cheaper ammo) from Nobelteq, as back in the day one could purchase a combo Vektor SP2 with the .40 S&W barrel and a 9MMP barrel included, however one had to license the second barrel separately.

    As an experiment I fitted my Beretta 92 barrel to the SP2 and test fired, and it functioned 100%.
