Sorry as I said not really picking on you but everyone who uses the term incorrectly.

But what really blows my top is guys referring to a high end AR when reviewing it as having "tighter tolerances". Unless you have insight into the blue prints given to the manufacturer you cannot possibly know how right the tolerances. Furthermore I can specify a pin to be 8mm and its mating hole to be 9mm with a 0.001mm tolerance (too tight for normal machining and would require precision grinding) but the fit of the pin on the hole would be as sloppy as hell.

    Thank you for sharing Grant.

If I may add to your post?

I have had a Glock 24C gifted by member DLRX for jusyltnover two years now. He had it since 1997. It has been an all out Competition gun since day one. DLRX used it competitively in IPSC for all of those years. We are talking thousands and thousands of rounds through that barrel.

In Jan 2019 I installed a new trigger bar gifted by Streetracer. Another set of sights (Personal prefrence) and that was all ladies and gentlemen.

Now it is a dedicated IDPA gun doing a more civilized +- 2000 rounds a year.

Honestly, considering the age and round count I would've expected some kind of failure but this Firebreathing Dinosaur just keeps on performing. Super accurate and a joy to shoot.

I rechecked I mean I have the gun in my hand or something. Its not a crack.
Besides even if it was its the practice gun. Untill it goes catastrophically wrong like break in half its still getting shot. A lot.

Life of the rifling in the barrel? How many rounds should we (hahaha made a funny), could you expect out of the gun's barrel before accuracy degrades to much?
The 40 holding up better than I thought it would to be honest :D
