Has anyone used Ballistol Robla Solo MIL, and how does it work?
I am considering buying it for cleaning of my pistols barrel.

I've only used it on rifles. Works fine, never bothered with anything more than a brush on a pistol.

It's Ammonia based, so does the job. A few tries may be necessary for heavy fouling.

Many, many people have used ballistol on all types of polymer framed weapons for years and I've never heard of any negative effects.

Here also no found problems on my Glocks, cast iron pans and pots.

Ballistol is excellent for all round use
Hoppes is better for bore cleaing. I use both.
I now also use DVC grease.


My ak I used to do a mix of Ballistol oil (not aerosol) and water, poured down the barrel for that vintage ammo that may be corrosive

Its actually one of the recommended uses of Ballistol, to neautrilze corrosive salts.
I like the smell of it lol, they should turn it into a shaving cream or aftershave
