The Ballistol you use for medicinal purposes is Neo- Ballistol The label on the bottle reads "Hausmittel" and I think it is more refined than the Universal Ballistol You also get it in a capsule form. Really a wonder cure for almost everything. Nicolas Yale in J/ burg are the agents

I use Ballistol on many different applications. It doesn't stain materials like a petroleum based grease/oil will. The smell also stinks, but , in a good way. Aniseed / Liquorish kind of pong. I dig it.
Its also food safe , so on kitchen appliances / pocket knifes /whatever, its a great option.

However, having said this, i want to move to using a grease for the rails of my slide. All pivot points and such, I will still gladly use Ballistol.

I was advised to do this by a Glock Armorer.
Still use Ballistol on all of my other guns.

Where do you buy this? I'm interested in trying this for my slide.
I see it's considered 'thin grease'

I have a bottle of this I got from ARMS years ago. I used it to rid myself of a little skin cancery thing. It works.
Lets hope it doesn't cure Corona... just might get banned from import.
